Sorobon Beach Resort is a naturist resort situated on the tiny Caribbean island of Bonaire, gently cooled by the constant trade winds. A shallow bay is protected by a barrier reef, making it ideal for swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing. The resort has the only nudist beach on the island, completely private, equiped with shelters made of palm tree branches and with beach chairs. Guaranteed all over sun tanning! Above all things, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

The resort is located in a nature reserve protected under the UN Ramsar Convention. Thus, the view of the bay and the Caribbean Sea will always be guaranteed. Construction will never be permitted around the bay in order to protect the environment, in particular maritime life and other flora and fauna.

It goes without saying that our operations are completely environmentally sound. We do not cause any negative environmental effects. Our efforts on behalf of the environment include solar energy and sound waste and waste-water treatment. We also devote a great deal of attention to local plant and animal life in order to maintain the interesting indigenous biotope.

We offer the privacy and relaxation of a quiet, casual atmosphere, which will not be disturbed by TV, radio or telephone. The tranquil island of Bonaire with its beautiful nature life has all ingredients for a hundred percent peaceful vacation. Flora, fauna and the spectacular underwater life give you the possibility to explore tropical nature life.

Sorobon Beach Resort fulfills an important function, it enables you to recharge your emotional batteries, to communicate with nature and get away from ‘civilization’ with its traffic problems, junk mail, TV, etc. You will feel refreshed, restored and rested physically and mentally. Sorobon is a bit of heaven on a sunny island surrounded by an azure sea!

Sorobon is a small intimate world community, where you will meet interesting naturists from all over the world. Many of them are repeating guests. You will meet: US-citizens, UK, Germany, France, Scandinavian, Italy, Venezuela, Brazil, Dutch and so on. Sorobon a paradise for polyglots!

You will have a splendid view across the bay and sea, a constant changing of colors: green, deep-blue, turquoise. Enjoy the parakeets, flamingoes, birds, iguanas, all pure nature..!

Sorobon Beach has 30 chalets, all with ocean views. All chalets have airconditioning and are fitted with all conveniences; bedroom with a queensize bed, mosquito-net, ceiling fan, wardrobe, in-room safe, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, electric fans, bed / settee and armchairs. The spacious terrace is furnished with deck-chairs and a wooden bench and dining table.

Maid service and fresh towels six days a week. Beach towels and linens are provided.

We have snorkel equipment. For relaxation and fun we have a jeu de boules court. There is also an extensive library with books in different languages and barbecue or Antillean night every week. Massage and yoga for your complete relaxation.

There is also a shop with a small range of souvenirs, beach and food items. You can rent a car at the resort for sightseeing or going out for dinner. Several times per week we have a free shopping trip to town. Free airport pick-up.

Sorobon is an eco-resort. Warm water is generated by solar energy and is recycled and used for the gardens in a natural setting. We always try to use natural products and materials.

ROOMS & SUITES

There are 28 one bedroom chalets, one two bedroom unit and one three bedroom house. All of them are grouped into two crescents facing Lac Bay and the Caribbean Sea. No chalet is more than 50 yards from the sea.

All chalets have airconditioning and are fitted with all conveniences; bedroom with a queensize bed, ceiling fan, wardrobe, in-room safe, bathroom, electric fans, bed/settee and armchairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, stove, fridge, juicer, coffeemachine. Microwave and blender available upon request.

The spacious terrace is furnished with deck-chairs and a wooden bench and dining table. All terraces are facing the sea.

We try to use only natural products.

One of the double chalets nr. 22 is a two bedroom two bathroom unit with a large sitting room and an extended porch. Ideal for two couples.

Cas Grandi nr. 21 is a two floor house with a spacious livingroom and kitchen upstairs. Three bedrooms with airconditioning and two bathrooms are located on the bottom level. A large porch surrounds the house on both levels. The third deck gives a spectacular view over Lac Bay. This is a perfect place for star gazing. Maximum 7 persons. Fits very well for families or larger groups.
